Legionnaire’s Disease, Water Safety

Legionella bacteria, known to cause the potentially fatal Legionnaires’ disease, can thrive in warm, stagnant water environments, making cooling towers especially susceptible to contamination. Since 2021, the City of Vancouver has implemented bylaws that require regular testing of cooling towers and water features. By collaborating with the City, Creative Chemicals aims to end Legionnaire’s disease by providing testing and treatment services to detect and remove Legionella from your water systems.
